Drop a file or paste text, get a 4-digit code. The other device types it in and the transfer begins — encrypted, peer-to-peer, never through a server.
Data goes inside the QR code itself (up to 2.3 KB) or over a local Wi-Fi link (up to 5 MB) — the other device just scans it with its camera.

Files travel directly between the two browsers over an encrypted WebRTC channel — the server only brokers the connection.
Videos up to 2 GB play instantly on arrival. For files over ~256 MB the receiver should use Chrome or Edge so data streams straight to disk while the upload is still running.
